- add butter & let soften into oatmeal mixture --chop up to speed process.
- add brown & white sugars ...mix till smooth---ish.
- add eggs & vanilla and mix well.
- combine dry ingred. ...flour soda, salt and cocoa tog.
- add dry ingred. mixture to batter & stir well.
- add one cup Choc chips ..stir into batter.
- pour into well greased & floured 9" x13" pan.
- sprinkle nuts over top.
- sprinkle remaining Choc. chips over top...I press the nuts into mix lightly.
- bake at 350 for 40 min ( you can check it earlier and remove as soon as it passes the toothpick test..
- this freezes well..
